The Village of Villa Park announced last week that the water fountains in the village’s parks and along the Illinois Prairie Path are officially open for the season. All restrooms in the village’s parks are also open.
The village noted that the Lufkin Park splash pad was under repair, but was expected to open this week.
The Village of Villa Park also announced last week that 2026 passes for Jefferson Pool are now available. Passes are available online and at the Villa Park Recreation Center.
Jefferson Pool will be open for the season on Saturday, May 30. The season’s final date of weekday open swim is Wednesday, Aug. 12.
The pool will close for the season at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 30.
