The Villa Park Parks and Recreation Department held its annual Big Rigs and Kids event on Saturday morning, Aug. 22, in the Ardmore Business District, near Ardmore Avenue and Central Boulevard. The event, which was held adjacent to the inaugural Villa Fest celebration, gave children a chance to explore a variety of vehicles, including vehicles from the village’s police, fire and public works departments.
